Fall just isn’t fall without the ever so basic pumpkin patch pic! And in honor of my inner basic white girl – here it is folks!
One of the best things about living at the beach…is well, the Beach! Shocker! But what people often ask, is how do I survive a beach trip with 3, 3 and under?
So here are my tips and tricks for a smooth beach or pool trip with the littles!
He got home from work at 2 am last night; and since I couldn’t sleep until he was back, mama is TIRED. So now here I am, absolutely exhausted and yet absolutely happy.
The switch from 2 to 3 has been easier in many ways than I would’ve imagine and harder in others. PPD has roared its ugly head once again and this time I decided enough is enough and contacted my doctor to get help.
Now that mama is taking care of herself, we are all much happier. I get to enjoy the silly moments with the boys and the cuddles with my sweet little Rainbaby. She’s a total daddy’s girl and I know EM loves it! Her big brothers adore her and constantly want to hold and love on her. This girl is not wanting for smooches.
Seeing the bond they already share is heart melting!
Now since I don’t have my MacBook and typing on my phone is no easy venture – I’m just going to leave these pics here and call it a day! But first a quick update.
1. Evelyn has gained weight and is nursing like a champ – so thank you to all who gave us advice, prayed, and sent words of encouragement.
2. There was no Mom Friend Monday this past Monday because it was a holiday weekend – I love yall – but I love my family more. Sorry not sorry.
3. I have a real fun giveaway coming up so be on the lookout on my Instagram! If you’re not following – get with the program dear friend!
All I ever wanted was to be a mom. I’d dream of the day I’d get married, but longed for the day that I could have a baby of my own. I remember thinking (a year before EM and I got engaged) that I’d never get married, that it wasn’t in the cards for me. Then I stopped looking. I stopped focusing on finding mister right and prayed to God that the next guy He put in my life would be THE guy and that he better work hard to prove that he was the one God had sent.
When you have two under two and one on the way, it can be difficult to make “us time”. Throw in a crazy schedule (read – trying to get the boys ON a schedule), and lack of date night funds, you do what you gotta do to find ways to reconnect! That means telling your husband to pick up some wine on the way home, busting out The Oregon Trail Card Game and popping some homemade popcorn.
